Lunar the Silver Star (E) PAL SEGA/MEGA CD FILE

Hi, I am in need of a patched version of Lunar the silver star that will work on my PAL MEGA CD, I've tried to patch it about 10 times and none have worked for me. So if anyone has what I'm looking for, please, I mean please provide a download link or instructions on how to patch it.

Just a quick do other burned games work??? if not, or not tested it may just need the laser pot fine tuned to read CD-R media....

Personly if you have the ntsc version and are unable to boot region patch it (display patching would be something different and not help you boot the game), then just post a request for the PAL version, in our rom request section

Other burnt games work fine (from the same region as my Mega CD) but cannot get US games to work, will put in a request.

I went through your guide on how to convert the region, and followed it, but the same thing happens, the game goes to the cd menu where you can play only audio files. Thanks anyway, guess I won't be able to play Lunar silver star.

Action replay my of let you boot another region or simular CD, not sure what CD's came out for the Mega CD, I missed out on that console myself

Edit* think there ware a CDX version of Action Replay, if it's anything like the other action replays of the time and for a few years after it should let you boot other regions through it

Just to look at not saying rush out and buy it, there out of stock anyway, but I'm sure you will be able to find it, either on amazon (diff seller obviously) or ebay or maybe a local game trade shop like grainger games or the like

There is also a CD+Plus and CD Key, P.S. all of these are carts not CD's but all enable imports (Not sure if this would help with copied imports)

EDIT* lol ebay have a CD-X for about £40, meh buy a controller for your PC or a second hand Xbox original (hack it) and emulate the game, that game is well worth playing though, personly I like that version more than later versions, I can't pin point it exactly but even though later versions are greater in file size and have very nice graphical updates and longer game play I think the old Mega CD version had a good balence and keeps you wanting more until the game has been completed, yet later versions I have still yet to complete, P.S. the game does emulate perfectly by the way, atleast through Gens and Kega Fusion, yet to play this on my Xbox.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion I found one on ebay for $70 AUS, but I heard about the MEGA CART VI, and checked out the Website: http://products.genny4ever.net/megacart_v1x.html, it allows me to purchase it, but I don't know if I will get it b/c the site was last updated on August 2008, but it looks good for $70 as it allows you to play imports and is a RAM cart which would allow me to play book 3 and 4 of Shining Force CD.

Not that book 3 n 4 are worth playing that much but admittedly I enjoyed em anyway, they are rather short but do test your skills, a bit of a challenge to a certain point, well is if you like to keep all members alive without a death count.

I kinda asumed you had been from the UK with using a PAL machine, forgetting for a lil while that PAL covers all EU and Aus, so only looked at UK sites but these carts are harder to find than I thought and the few I found went for silly amounts

I would join there forum or email them and double check if there online shop is still operating just to make sure

Checked that out, looks like it double as a flash kit, being able to run roms aswell, i.e. downloaded MegaDrive/Genesis games direct from cart, well could be wrong but from the little I looked at it thats what it looked like

If you went with the full pack though I noticed it was made for XP/98-SE and requires the PC side to have both a printer port and usb, this would be more for megadrive rom uploads to the cart or firmware updates for the cart
