Also, if you pick up a Game Genie, it acts as a fantastic connection enhancer for the NES. I use mine all the time and have never had a game freeze on me. I once ran Adventure Island II for two days solids with nothing going wrong at all. And it usually loads up first try, every single time.

Nice. I know there are issues with connections on Nes'. I've considered just buying a toploader so I can play other region games as well

Wow. I'm surprised I've never come across that before. There are a lot of glitches in MM2 you can check out -- I'm sure you can find them easily enough on Youtube. The only one I remember is using Item-1 in the battle against Bubble Man in Bubble Man's stage, you skip to some glitched out version of one of the Wily's Fortress levels.

There's also that. I've considered buying a Famicom so that I can play some of the wicked-awesome Japanese releases that they have out there, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yeah, just checked out a couple. Some are cool. I'm just pondering whether or not to trick my brother into doing that MM4 glitch (bit mean as he'd have to start the game over again )

The Famicom is something that would be awesome to get, just got to get the monies first

Those are the kinds of tricks I would try out on a lazy afternoon where I have absolutely nothing to do. And yeah, from the looks of most of the eBay listings, I could probably pick up the console for about $80 with shipping. I can totally afford it, it's more a matter of "do I really want to."

Yeah. At the moment, I'm having trouble justifying that sort of spending Buying a new Xbox360 for testing games I've developing atm so thats £200 out of my pocket already.

    SHIT!

I'm watching another LP of Silent Hill at the moment, and just realized what mistake I made in the first little bit. I was totally on the right track, but overlooked one small little thing. That's why I got so lost. GODDAMN.

I have a bit of "extra spending money" at the moment, and stuff like that is usually what I like to spend it on. But I also want to get a new tattoo, and buy a couple of games for my PS3. And, in all honesty, I would only want to get it for the novelty of having it, not necessarily to play it oh so much. So it gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

Okay. I should probably go to bed sometime soon. After a smoke or twelve. And some food. Mmmmmn. Food.

Fuck yeah, application to uni has been submitted. Also happy to the fact that I've actually made another start on my game. Hopefully after work tonight and my meeting with a friend tomorrow I can concentrate on that
