I've tried to get back into it a couple of times, and I haven't been able to.

I think the storyline is interesting, but the whole cycle of fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, cutscene, fight, fight, fight, minor dialogue, fight, fight, fight, cutscene, boss fight, repeat, is just more exhausting than it is entertaining.
