I giggled though. Although it wasn't really a giggle. It was really one of those amused exhalations.

A couple weeks back, my cousin and I were pondering the question of whether or not things were offensive.

We ended up discussing microwave food and whether or not it's appropriate to "nuke" japanese food.

Also, whether or not it would still be appropriate if, after it came out not fully heated, you were to toss it back in and nuke the japanese food TWICE.

We reached a consensus that it was probably only bad if the microwave was made in the US.

I have the best conversations with these people, I swear.

He must work in a physically demanding field.

I haven't eaten like that since the last time I worked hard labour.

Shit makes you hungry as fuck.

Do the NPCs respond in the same manner to your PC, regardless of gender or character tendency?

Stockpile Thomas just told my character he was worried sick about her. I found the image of some guy who's trapped in the Nexus forever, worrying for the safety of an emotionally hardened, female slayer of archdemons, to be somewhat cute.

It's significantly less cute if I imagine the same line spoken to a male PC.

Unless that PC is Elin's, I suppose.

    Not particularly.

    He's just always hungry.

In fact, the first time we ever spent more than a couple of hours together, he was slightly puzzled at the fact that I hardly ever ate. He bought me tons of food so I would eat something.

I blame my developing overeating habits on him.

Mostly, I think. I believe an NPC or two takes on a less pleasant tone if you have a dark CT. The dark CT characters only appear if you have a dark CT, so no idea if that goes both ways. And I think thomas is less pleased with you if you withhold his quest item. But since a lot of the nexus dwellers are pretty self serving, they don't seem to really go against your character. Probably because without you they'd all be dead or demonic.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that line of dialogue after not talking to him for a while on a positive character who did the quest. Not certain though.

Well, when it comes to the internet, a slightly amused exhalation is usually as good as it gets.

I think Mistral's joke was better though. Historical reference and a homophone? I can't even compete with that.

I think as long as you guys issued a formal apology to the company that made the food for using excessive heat to win the war on hunger there would be no hard feelings.

Baked potato. It's what's for dinner. Possibly with a sandwich.

You should blame the fact that food is so delicious.

Seriously, why does EVERYTHING have to taste so good?

I was going to, but then I realized I had some bagels in the oven.

I hope you cleaned them up with a quick shower first.
