My younger brother's friends only buy each other gag presents, which has left my brother with one shirt that says 'Horny Beast' on it with a picture of a bull, and another that says 'Sex Instructor: first lesson free'. He wears both proudly.

He also has a calendar of half-naked men from a popular TV soap here on his door.

So they have this new thing. It's called an "Extension Cord." I hear they make them in China. Anyways, apparently it's this cord that extends from the wall to wherever you need a power plug, and then you can plug something that needs electricity into it.

Is that right? Technology just keeps on getting better and better!

Perhaps I should buy one. But unfortunately it's almost 5 in the morning, and I needs my movie fix. Oh yeah, and I'm broke.

I went to the pet shop down the road from my brother's house like every second day I was in Japan. I think they started to know me as the weird foreigner who came in, gawked at the pretty animals, and never actually bought anything.
