Today, Milady, growing tired of always being without a lighter every time she most desperately needed one, lit a small tea light before her boyfriend departed for a long day at work, taking the lighter with him. The lighter itself was almost certainly oblivious to the ever present danger it was in, a danger that had brought the lives of its packmates to an end (or, at least, death is the best we could hope for those poor, imperiled lighters, lost somewhere in the void, having slipped unseen through one's pocket, or beneath a car seat). It would surely be unable to escape its fate, like so many before it. And without her fire starting friends, Milady stayed at home, wishing occasionally that she could light a candle, or perhaps a stick of incense. Alone she remained, with the boring, familiar, non-scent of her little apartment.

It was today that she stumbled across the little orange BIC, resting quietly on the table before departing for what could be its last day in the pocket of her boyfriend's jacket. Next to it, a set of candles from Christmas, with plenty of replacements. Swiftly, she lit a small candle and set it aside, determined to have the tiny flame available for lighting incense once she was finished with her cleaning for the day. And so was born Milady's small, flickering hope that she would soon be surrounded by a lovely fragrance.

With luck, she won't fall asleep watching EP LPs and burn the place down.

I love that beating Demon's Souls is a longterm life goal. I'm actually a little scared to buy that game.

And not having any kids? But it's your duty as a woman to bear the children of future generations! :O Just like it's my duty as a man to be masculine and strong and...ooh, look at that, a Youtube video with a cat sleeping on top of a dog!

Yay for rejecting stupid gender roles! For what it's worth, Mommy Milady would be cute, though~ ^^
A goal that would actually come before school, if they didn't force me to keep to a schedule. It's really not that terrible, and it's quite enjoyable. It's not the game itself that's hard, it's forgiving yourself for making stupid mistakes which lead to your death.

No, thank you. I have quite enough little siblings and half-siblings and step-siblings to satisfy any biological yearning for surrounding myself with children. Most of them I can only stand to visit for a few hours before begging to return to my quiet little abode. Mommy Milady would be a very grumpy person.

Because not only does she get away with it, nobody ever finds out and she may or may not end up bringing about the end of the world.

Fucking melty blood and its occurring after a storyline that didn't happen and is only vaguely alluded to at times.

Storyline that didn't happen? Parallel universe? Slip backwards in the timeline? Or just MAGIC?

Okay, here's the plan. Let's do 6 storylines. 3 that focus on the ongoing three way war between the vampires, the catholic church, and the humans caught in the middle. The other 3 will focus on Shiki and his fucked up family.

    *time constraints*

You know what? Let's cut it down to 2 vampire storylines and 3 tohno storylines. Who should we cut? Uh, let's get rid of satsuki.

    *some time later*

Oh, we're doing a bonus disc. We're going to include the satsuki route on it.

    *some time later*

Yeah, about that. We aren't putting it on that disc. But maybe on the pseudo sequel

    *some time later*

Yeah, we actually decided that it'd be more worthwhile to write an epilogue to Akiha's storyline. Sorry!

    *some time later*

Melty blood is a sequel to the satsuki storyline.

    *remake gets announced*

    Yup, it's finally coming out.

    *remake cancelled*

Actually, scratch that. I need to focus on Aoko's story.

    MOTHERFUCKER.

Apparently it's everyone involved with everything.

You know she's hated when she gets less screen time than characters that have no bearing on anything and when she does show up it's often in fourth wall breaking segments where EVERYONE digs at her for dying horribly in every single storyline and laughing at how she'll never get any sweet, sweet protagonist lovin'.

Yeah, by all I've heard it sounds very like my sort of difficult. The sort of difficulty where you always feel like you've been beaten by your own incompetence rather than by any quirk of the game itself, and demand one more try because you're so sure that this time you'll get it right.

Seconded. I think children are cute in Youtube videos of them doing adorable things, and when you see them in Japanese aquariums with their mothers whispering 'hello' to cardboard cutouts of penguins (true story! ). Not so much when you're stuck at close quarters with them for long periods of time. My little cousin tires me out enough when she visits for an hour. Pretty sure I'd go crazy if I had to be a father.

But on the plus side, if you become a father you can state that you are now *literally* a motherfucker.

Corporal punishment. You can tell it's gone out of style.

    Hello.

You know, I kinda expected Tan to be done editing the GoL LP by now.

Then again, I did just stick him with like, 5 hours of footage, 3 hours of that straight, so yeah.
