I've never played Mass Effect and I never plan on it.

Hmm, never thought of them like that I did find them a lot different to previous megaman games.

    Which level you on?

I've beaten Plug Man so far, attempted to do Tornado Man's level but pretty much rage quit. I made it to Splash Woman, but didn't have any Energy Tanks and ended up dying, and didn't have the energy to make it all the way back there. Now I'm attempting Gravity Man. Whose level isn't terrible so far, but still.

They are definitely very different set ups in comparison to most other 8-bit MM games. The levels all seem to have one or two places where you're more likely than not going to lose all of your lives attempting to get passed it, provided you don't have any of the extra upgrades like Rush Jet and whatnot.

Plug man's level (for me) was the hardest one of the first 8 levels. There are a few nasty bits in splash woman's stage. Galaxy man's level isn't too bad (no nasty death traps)

Navigating those magnetic pole things in Tornado Man's level, followed almost immediately by having to jump into the rain a la Toad Man (MM4) has so far made Tornado Man's my least favorite level. Plug Man's level was annoying, but only as far as having to do the memory blocks in the dark.

I forgot about the rain in tornado man's stage. Makes a few of those magnet jumps near impossible.

I'm not going back there until I have Rush Jet. This has been decided. Thankfully, I just beat Galaxy Man or whatever his name was. I'm attempting Jewel Man now.
