I'm pretty happy with my 360. Just make sure you get the higher end model with the hard drive and stuff already in, unless you're planning to just set up a laptop drive. Which I wanna do but am lazy so may just buy microshafts super expensive one. Hell who cares it's free money

I wanted a plasma rather than an LCD, since I don't get a lot of natural light in living room and can get a better picture out of a plasma. Still, an LCD 42" 1080p is currently going for around $650 and up.

Get the 4GB slim bundled with kinectshit.
Get the 250GB model.

It's the same price retail here.

There are a few doods in hong kong selling the legit HDD's for around $60au.

Meh, I think I'll just get the 250GB 'cos I can't be bothered having to sell the kinect (if I got the 4GB).

you can get the 4gig without kinect, but still if the one with the hdd is the same price over there for you then jump on it.

I think my landlord has wireless going just need to get the wep key, but so far I've had no reason to really bother.

I don't live in a major city. I wouldn't even really call it a big city (about 80,000 people, give or take). And, like I said... different country. Different traditions. Most of the places around here to buy electronics are big chain stores, and the employees there would get fired for cutting deals like that. So they don't. We sell electronics at the store that I work at, and you can bet your left nut if one of my colleagues in that department was ever caught doing that, they would be terminated within minutes.
