We aren't the only country in the world that doesn't have snow at christmas lol.
Christmas marketing is the same as everywhere else.......it's a european tradition, and this country was colonised by europeans.

Our trees don't have snow on them, but that doesn't stop marketing from having pictures of snowy christmas stuff.

Christmas tree lights are nearly as big here as in other western countries (I suspect).
People compete against each other in decorating and lighting up their houses....it results in massive electricity bills :/
