Some people find torrential rain and storms a bit disturbing.
I never have any trouble getting to sleep if there's a good storm around, and living on a hill gives quite a good view of any show nature puts on.

Yeah, I find storms really relaxing too. Snuggling up in my bed while a thunderstorm rages on outside is probably my favourite thing in the world. I've even got an MP3 on my iPod I listen to sometimes when I can't get to sleep.
