Only a few more hours until Christmas. I can't sleep. Not because I'm excited, but because I tried sleeping through it and just made myself awake as hell.

Hope she doesn't just sit around and do nothing all the time and not overstay her welcome either.

I hate roommates, never again. I don't care if my best friend was at the door crying with no shoes on, I'd show em where the nearest shelter is.

    There's that good person again

    AHHH NO REVERSE WACKO!!!!!

She works two part time jobs, and he works late evenings into early mornings (I want to say 6PM 'til 2AM, something like that), and he lives with his parents still. I made it clear that it wasn't going to be a permanent thing, and that when I got back from my training I was going to help her look for a place.

I also get to bring in a little bit of extra cash charging her rent (I'm not gonna charge her for January, 'cause she's going to be housesitting for me for three weeks) and toss that into my savings, so that'll be kind of nice, too. I'm actually looking forward to it, a little bit... it might be nice to come home to someone, rather than just an empty house.

And I don't really know how serious her and her boyfriend are. But I work with one of her closest friends (that girl in my department that I have a huge crush on ), and she made the comment that "she doesn't really worry about stuff like that" when it came to infidelity. So.... something tells me she's a bit of a free spirit? Or she'll just do what she wants.

Seriously, though, for her age... one of the more responsible people I've ever met. Most people her age are worrying about partying and how to pick up guys, and getting hammered on the weekends, and she's working pretty much non-stop all week. Can't go wrong with someone with that kind of attitude.

Not entirely sure. At the moment, I'm just staying to help out. Depending if they mind keeping me as a super mod, though, I might not mind. I don't think I would like to be in charge of any particular section, but I could always cover for people when they're out for a little bit, that sort of thing. Or just keep my eyes out for FPA and whatnot...

It'll end up being up to the admins, I suppose.

I don't think they would have any objections if you decided to keep on with it.

I don't think so, either. I think the only argument for stripping me of my powers would be "well, he doesn't actually do too much around here." And, to be honest, I don't -- I just like to hang out here.
