Not really. It's better to have a handful of friends who'll watch your back than a dozen who'll stab you there.

Male, but I don't really know him anymore. He was more of a 'friend'. One of the kids I hung out with in school but didn't really get along with.

    ...

Almost all my friends in high school were male, I guess. Masculinity +1. On the negative side of things, the person I got along with best was female, even if I never really had the courage to admit that I liked being with her more than with the random group of guys. Masculinity -1 for wanting to hang out with a non-girlfriend girl ahead of the lads, and another -1 for lack of courage.

    ...

Also -1 for the girl that I liked best in school being the dorkiest girl in our year by a significant margin.

Kinda like. Actually, it was about the only song on her solo album that I kept. I like Rasputina's stuff much better...
Rasputina is good, but I thought that a lot of their songs sounded too similar. Maybe that's just my lack of experience listening to strings, though. Not fond of classical music.

    Your calculations are incorrect.
+1 for preferring to hang out with vaginas instead of penises.
+1 for liking nerdy chicks. (unless she was a beast)
+1 for lack of courage as I have the same problem.

-1 for lack of balls. +1 for the nerdy chick though.

I agree, but we're still talking only two people in my life I'd say I'm really close to. Unless one of them happens to be a significant other than I can feasibly expect to spend most of their time with me, I probably require more social interaction.

    ...

Why did I hear that in a 'you require more vespene gas' voice? ; Stupid dorkiness.

    You must construct additional friends.
