Not for a while yet. And my qualifications are decent enough that I could probably get a so-so-ish job in the meantime...provided I wasn't going to quit before the year was out. I guess I could just decline to mention that, but I'm not very comfortable doing something like that. It seems so dishonest.

I guess I could just work in a store or something. The high street stores here are always looking for employees, even if they're only temporary. But that'd probably be even worse than just spending my days writing, reading, and playing piano. And I don't exactly need the money.

The trouble is that I should be at college this year. I wanted to take some classes just to keep myself busy while I waited to hear from the university. But I went there and they told me 'Your grades are fine, you should go and apply to university', so I didn't end up registering. Of course they were wrong, and I didn't get in. Which leaves me with precisely nothing to do 'til July when I can go and convince them that no, my grades are not fine. Bleh. Oh well~
