    It's not backwards, it's a general demand for Japanese language classes. I thought the weeaboo culture was restricted to America.

    Japan has become a major power in the world. It's the same as taking english if you're not native to america or the U.K.

    Yes, because you can't learn Latin, Chinese, German, and French at any decent school because the languages don't have crazy fanboys.

    It has to do with anime and manga, which are both awesome... but not the only stuff out there. It's to easy to get addicted, which is why there are a bunch of people who do nothing but sit at their computer drooling over hentai.
