I couldn't read past the first issue though, I couldn't stand the art style and lazy lack of detailing.
My first comics as a kid were Turok and the Nintendo comics, so my standards are high.

Actually, now that I think about it, I read the Love Hina mangas, all of them, when I was 15. Took them out 1 by 1 from the Springfield library. Huh. Can't remember what I thought of them, though. I can remember the basic plot, but no names or images.
You poor bastard. No wonder you didn't like manga.

Inuyasha and Love Hina. Not exactly good shit.

No sarcasm. It just seems like an open and closed kinda subject. Not a lot of room for varying positions, not a lot of depth in the data either.

That kinda shit ain't fun to read up on or to write about.

Heh, this topic of discussion is making me nostalgic. I'm remembering reading Turok and other Valiant comics as a kid, watching Heavy Metal and Akira, seeing FLCL and Cowboy Bebop for the first time....
    /away to read Uzumaki

    He wasn't there again today.

There is more detail in this one image than in an entire volume of most manga. I really do feel like I'm reading a black and white western comic book.
That reminds me, I've been meaning to see if I can find copies of the Tales from the Crypt comic, as well as The Vault (at least, I think that's the name. It's another, similar comic to Tales from the Crypt that was translated into episodes of the TV show).

    Edit:
The way the girl is drawn, and the detail in the plants in the bottom left panel.
As I was walking down the stair,
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Not surprising. A lot of popular mangas are on a crazy tight schedule.

100 is average. Below 70 is considered mental retardation. Above 130 is considered genius.

Just remember to bear in mind that 100 is always the average, regardless of how smart or dumb the tested group as a whole is.

Country full of intellectuals? average is 100
Country full of retards? average is still 100
