Only manga I've ever read beyond two pages (besides The Enigma, as mentioned) was the first issue of Inu Yasha. A girlfriend in highschool had it, and at the time they were still airing the watchable, early episodes on Adult Swim, so I borrowed them. I couldn't read past the first issue though, I couldn't stand the art style and lazy lack of detailing.
My first comics as a kid were Turok and the Nintendo comics, so my standards are high.


Actually, now that I think about it, I read the Love Hina mangas, all of them, when I was 15. Took them out 1 by 1 from the Springfield library. Huh. Can't remember what I thought of them, though. I can remember the basic plot, but no names or images.

There is more detail in this one image than in an entire volume of most manga. I really do feel like I'm reading a black and white western comic book.
That reminds me, I've been meaning to see if I can find copies of the Tales from the Crypt comic, as well as The Vault (at least, I think that's the name. It's another, similar comic to Tales from the Crypt that was translated into episodes of the TV show).
