    I'm sticking with best.
I guess it's different for different computers.

I don't really like 7Zip. I tried it a few times, and while it's slightly better at compressing, it's not as widely accepted as WinRar, and leads many new people to continually ask how to unzip the ISOs.

    Too much trouble

I watched about 5 seconds of fighting.

I'll say this, the faggotry is too much. Even for me.

I'm also using v3.62 which supports multithreading. I have an Athlon X2, so I figured I'd benefit from the "two" processors.

But, 7zip compressed files are automatically associated with WinRar by default, no? So, would they really ask how to uncompress it if they most likely already have WinRar installed?

    Too much trouble
Just wanted to know if it compressed better with regular settings.
When I used to upload PSX and PS2 games, the results would vary from a game to another with the same settings. Some would compress better with WinRAR, and some with 7zip. I mainly used RAR for the reasons you mentioned, though. Silly newblets. -__-

Yeah, I see it all the time, especially if they have an old version of WinRar.

Why, it's a widely known fact in the newb world that WinRAR only deals with RAR files, 7zip with 7z, and WinZIP with zip. HURRRRRR

    Silly newblets. -__-
