Definitely is. There's something about their smaller releases that just can't be found on their albums, a specific feel to the music (probably due to unconstrained experimenting), and here it is majestic.

and the like.

Lamb of God aint great at all; 3 songs in and I feel the need to put on something that has a bit of variety. Kinda regretted buying Ashes of the Wake.

I have Lamb of God's CD Sacrament, I quite like it.

Only four good songs on that album.

Beating on Death's Door is the best IMO.

Fairly typical metalcore. Practically anything in the genre should sound at least a little like them.

The Black Dahlia Murder

Any of the major Gothenburg bands. In Flames (Album: The Jester Race), Dark Tranquillity (The Gallery or Character) and At the Gates (Slaughter of the Soul) would be the main suggestions.

Pantera and any of the usual 'moshcore' bands (Throwdown, Hatebreed, etc)

Just freaked the fuck out when I saw Wacken was getting close to selling out, buying tickets today.

Barriers are pretty win when you really like the band, I've only been on the barrier at two gigs, Sodom and Testament. Both were fucking amazing, especially in the small venues here, was so close to the band I could've grabbed their guitars from their hands, if i were an arsehole.
