This is a possible solution for watching movies. I will consider a modded Xbox. It'll probably be cheaper than a standalone DivX player too.

1) DivX player through the network or from AVIs FTP'd onto the Xbox's hdd
2) MP3 player through the network
3) SNES with zSNESxbox
4) MEGADRIVE with NeoGenesis
5) Gameboy advance
6) Shit load of other emulators
7) PIRATED GAMES!?

I have the Xbox softmod disc already if you decide to use the hot swap method. You'll just need to burn it to cd.
