I think it decompresses to a subfolder or something.

Both yes. I see mbcaster right under the actual game application. Also, he couldn't connect when we tried to have me host after reapplying the patch and everything...

I just tested the port again, and for some reason, even though I've properly forwarded it, mbcaster still says that port 7500 isn't recieving anything...

Debug took me straight to the character select screen. According to that readme, that is what's supposed to happen.

Yeah, I even patched it twice... Once with the 1.03a patch that came with the download, the second time with the patch that I got directly from that site, just in case the first patch was corrupt somehow.
