So my mom's stupid cat scratched me the other night when I was trying to get her out of my room. I cleaned it up and everything was alright until I woke up to use the restroom last night and I noticed that my thumb was swollen where she scratched it. I put some peroxide on it and went back to bed, then today at about 12:30 when I was going on my lunch break at work, I noticed that my thumb was all red. I rolled up my sleeve, and lo-and-behold there were two nice red lines running a track down my arm from my thumb.

Long story short, I spent about three hours waiting to be seen at the hospital just to get a prescription for some antibiotics, which ended up costing me thirty-five bucks. Thirty-five bucks for eight pills, and I'm going to be thirty-five bucks short on rent due to having to leave work early to go to the doctor.

On top of that, I was due to take a test for the position I applied for at work, but ended up having to miss it. It wasn't necessarily supposed to happen today, as Monday was a possibility due to how busy the HR lady who was supposed to administer the test was, but I didn't like dropping out like that. I'm sure they'll understand, but still.

Today sucked.
