For quite a while I've had Grandia 2 for my DC, but I never played it. I was bored yesterday evening, so I played through it a bit, and I love it! For those who've played it, I just have a few questions:
1) What's up with Millenia? Is she good, or bad? Will Elena eventually break free of her? Or will we have a Sephiroth moment, and have some uber form of Valmar come in and kill Elena?
2) Mareg is officially Grandia 2's version of Kimahri.
3) Does Ryudo eventually lose his asshole, 'that kind of person', Geohound persona of his? Because I really like that about his personality, and I'm not taking a liking to his slow, caring image.
4) I'm stuck at the fucking Granas cliffs!Right after 'the darkness' shows up and makes the lift my party took to get to a cathedral. Stupid fog making me crash and shit!
Dude Grandia 2 on Dreamcast was my second RPG game. My second favorite game basically, I fucking love it. I beat it and have actually been craving it again because the story and gameplay is awesome as fuck. But, I have way too many games and Lost Odyssey to play now, so I'll have to wait longer.
1) She's both. She's the wings of Valmar so she's bad, but she has her own conscious. You'll have to see what happens with that.
2) You have it switched around as Grandia 2 came out like 4 years before FFX did.
3) Not really, he becomes a lot more soft to his friends but in general, no. I like him a lot, he's my favorite RPG character. He's not a bitch like the other main characters seem to be. Well, besides Kaim on Lost Odyssey. He'd fuck anyone up.
4) Yeah, that's a main problem on RPG's and G2's no exception. Just keep training and running around, you'll eventually get out.
Prepare yourself as you'll get more deep into it and you'll never want to stop playing. It really gets damn good, like on a FF level. I can't wait to play it again.
I seriously think this is one of the best RPG's around, not to mention underrated as fuck!

Think you get a few for certain purchases. You could atleast get some if you bought an... uh, additional nunchuck with the console or something like that. Should probably leave that question for a wii-owner though.

Probably is a EU/JPN only thing. When you buy certain games (Nintendo developed/published I think) you get this scratch ticket with a serial used for registering your purchase on Nintendo homepage. Each ticket is worth a different amount of star points depending on what system the game you bought is for. These star points can then be traded for Nintendo merchandise or Wii points.

Hey what do you guys think of that game Audiosurf, I saw videos of it on TV and tonight I decided to look at its website...it looks like a neat game. Anyways I'm downloading the demo right now (dial-up, may be finished by tomorrow, lol) and going to look at a review of it somewhere. Anyways what should I expect on the Demo compared to the full version?
