I liked Tim. =( His town had pretty music. And he was just about my best character for most of the game.

But he hogs too much screen time! Most of which is useless "I MUST PROTECT EVERYONE" babble!

Agreed. I was amazed at how much fun I had with it, even though a good part of the dialogue was pretty much beyond any comprehension.

It was weird, actually. About half of it was perfectly well translated. It's like they ran out of money halfway through and had to just Babelfish the rest.

Well to be fair, the second part was heavy on cowboy physics. Kuiper belts and dimensional rifts and the like.

And then there's the dialog with the elemental magic points.... I cringed. Big time.

I thought he was sweet. And also, I don't exactly remember so clearly, but I think he had by far the highest magic? And also multi-target spells that made most random battles a cinch?

He did, I think, but I just used him for healing only. Random battles were blazed through using ARMs.
