How lovely. It probably won't be quite the same now, since the graphics haven't aged well, and a lot of the plot has been thrown around online endlessly, but I hope you have fun~ I still think it's got one of Square's better stories to date. And the soundtrack is really nice, crappy synth or no.

I've been walking around with butterflies in my stomach for about a month and a half now, and getting light headed every time I hear a letter fall through our letterbox. ; I really need to learn how to chill out.

Yeah, they gotta hit a nice middle road between being hardcore enough for people who like to approach their games like they're homework, and people who actually want to enjoy them.

DMC3 was a bitch like that. I just don't have the time or inclination to spend hours upon hours fighting with the insane difficulty just to get a bit better at games like that. Given that I don't have a lot of time on my hands, I want to be able to play and actually progress.

That's why I like Guitar Hero. I have fun playing in hard and getting a five star score makes me smile. But seeing people trying to kill themselves just to rank in the 1st place in scorehero seems like a bit too much.

Also, Nevan is slow as hell. But being a guitar lover, I'll find some nice use to it.

Yep. I've been playing it on and off on the PSP recently, and, with the exception of the cutscenes where there are character models based on the blocky-handed ones, it's aged pretty well in that regard.

Heck to be fair, even the battles still look fairly good. Maybe I've just been spoiled by the absolute pinnacle of PS1-era prettiness that is Final Fantasy IX.
