Not really. It's like Metroid Prime. But no exploration, enemies switched to random colored blocks, all bosses are removed except two and those two are re-used multiple times, broken online play that doesn't punish you for disconnecting and glitches around every corner. NST really slapped every Metroid fan in the face when they made this game. :\Morph-Ball aqquired.
