I assume you were referencing WWI when you said he lost twice. While he was involved WWI, he was just a regular soldier then, hardly a military leader.

And it's impossible for all orders to have come from him and that's hardly what made them lose the war.

Honestly, I could go on about this as WWI/WWII is something I have bit a specialty with. But I don't feel like it.
