You know absolutely nothing about football. Have you ever played on an organized team or even at all? There are many techniques to master. They don't just run around and hit each other. You make it seem like NFL players don't go for the legs. You're wrong. I would like you to become farmiliar with defensive MVP and one of the greatest players in the league, Bob Sanders.

As for the speed issue you talk about, unless you have some sort of numbers to compare making challenges like that is pointless. Needless to say there are some really fast players in the NFL. I don't know who the fastest is, but Devon Hester is a blur of lightening.

The NBA? Yeah, it is a fucking joke.

    Default Defense...

98% of all facts are made up on the spot.
No 100% of those facts are true, and researched. That is why they are called facts.

I admit, I phrased it bluntly when I said rugby wasn't a full contact sport, what I meant is that it has rules preventing some of the same tackles that are made in football. I want you to know that I have nothing against rugby. In fact, I've played it a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The thing is, football is my favorite sport (and has been since I was 5), I don't like it being insulted. I apologize if you thought I was insulting rugby, I was actually defending football.

I should probably apologize for this too. I was making abit of a guess, seeing as Rugby was invented in England. I forgot it's most popular in Australia and New Zealand. I just wanted to put it in the metric system because it'd be easier to understand, the American Standard system is so messed up.

Yeah, they don't teach us much about other countries, but I've never been a big fan of the school system. I've tried to learn on my own, and you can see the kind of job I'm doing (bad).

Id love to see an NZ winger have a running race with your fasted running back
Back in defensive mode, the running backs are actually really fast without the pads.

You think your the best at everything you WRONG again
I really do not think I personally am the best at anything, which is backed up by the fact that I had to apologize for my shitty research.

If you're talking about as an American, we're really bad at not bombing people. And when we do bomb people, we usually miss the target and hit some civilians. END THE IRAQ WAR!!!

haha even your multi million dollar NBA dreamteam hasnt won gold in last 5 olympic games LOL
    I hate NBA...

I think we should stop insulting each other's sports and just play...

Rugby is pretty much full contact so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from.

I'm also not entirely convinced that NFL players are 10-15 times more powerful than a fighter jet.

There's rules against dropping people down vertical onto their necks/hitting around their necks, but that's not to say it doesn't happen all the time.....

Personally I don't anyone should talk shit about anoter person's favourite sports unless they have an indepth understanding of it, not just a passing judgement.

Agreed, that's why I don't post in the footie threads for example.

Gotta say the F16 comparison seems more like the punchline to a Chuck Norris joke than an actual fact though.

It's not saying that an f16 running into a person. Just comparing the force exerted on the human body while flying inside of one.

Ah OK, I get it now Strongbad. The original wording was a bit misleading though.

There's no such thing as evolution, just a list of creatures the NFL has allowed to live.
