The first time I played that game, I hated it. Then everything fell into place with the spell system and the combat, and I ended up enjoying it immensely. I never did finish it though.

Yeah, you and me both. I really want to win it so that I can stop worrying about taking care of my family, y'know? That's what brings me the most stress. I'd just like to have enough cash to take care of them for the rest of my life.

    haha.

Well, assuming your video card isn't complete shit, you should be able to run it.

That's kind of a low amount of RAM though, so it might cause some slow downs. But the levels are fairly small in Portal, so I don't think it will.

Yeah, this thing isn't expandable either. Like, literally. Everything is set in there in a way that makes it impossible to replace anything. Getting the DVD burner in there was hard enough.

I might check it out. Is there a demo available? I don't really dig the idea of spending cash on something that might not work, y'know?

Same here, but when you have the taste of playing so many games and then end up stuck with your original ones...eh....it's just not the same.

I thought the same thing when I had the PS3...you figure, I'm supposed to have the best of the best in gaming at my fingertips, and I play SOTC on it

On the topic of Eternal Darkness, beating it three times with the different alignments unlocks what I can only describe as an endless ending.

    Ahh, good game

If you have a spare PCI slot, you can get a decent enough card...
I would think there would be one slot...maybe not though

Ah, finish it then. At first yeah, it's a bit tough to understand and like (kinda like Lucky Star, with the first episode. ) but yeah, it's one of the Top 10 games of the Gamecube IMO.

I haven't done the third run with the green symbol, gotta do it one of these days...

The first disc I burned for the Cube was the SNES Emulator. And play Super Mario World on it, yay.

As far as I can tell, unless you have an Nvidia graphics card, you can't get a hold of a Portal demo.

they only released it for people with Nvidia cards, I guess

I'm speechless. It is all the awesomeness in the whole world condensed into a little box of orange goodness.
