Although things are starting to get all swirled together these days. I wrote a four page essay for Japanese class about how happy I was for all the friends I'd made over the last few years, and how even though I don't really have any big dreams in life, I think that's okay. My Japanese teacher was really impressed, and wrote on the back of it, in Japanese, "Little pieces of happiness are very important, but they can be difficult for certain people to appreciate. I think if more people learned to appreciate them, tomorrow would be just that bit brighter for all of us." And she had drawn a little star and a smiley face. It was just so overwhelmingly...

It's a lot better when a teacher keeps a relationship with her students rather than just writing a grade in a paper.
