Thinking about buying my own 360. The arcade model is only $279 new, and I don't need the hard drive for backwards compat...I have an original Xbox.

It's nice to be able to keep all game saves, I think. Of games that have been sold on and such.

I want another 360, I want a Premium with a flashed TS drive.

Looks to me like the only thing missing is the Hard Drive. The Arcade Edition comes with HDMI port, 256MB Memory Unit, Wireless Controller, Composite AV Cable and 5 bonus Arcade games: Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket, Pac-Man Championship Edition & Uno.

The only thing I wouldn't be able to do is get demo's and map packs for games.

    Yes. Someone who completely agrees.

And it's only 50$ more? What's that? Like 20 burgers or something?
