    I don't think about them so much. Although I have done moreso since I started to spend time online with people from other countries. Actually, though, I used to get really confused as a kid. I didn't really understand that American English and British English were different, and always got confused over stuff like 'colour / color'.

    I guess I've got to give something to CheezyMadman. With his sporadic 'LOL BRITISH ENGLISH IS DUMB' posts, he has indirectly pointed out some interesting differences here and there that I never really noticed.

    Must be because those differences are insignificant.

    Hee. I quite liked her in the first episode, and used her all the way through. But she died for me with her dorky scientist look. ;__; I didn't go near her in the remaining two. She's especially bad in 3, unfortunately... ;

    thats why i wish i knew more people from there, or could go on vacation there or something. the differences are much more noticeable when spoken.

    plus i want to get a feel for an accent. its hard to tell my 'british' from australian. especially if some native texan sneaks in there.

    I recall using her lots in the first one, too. As for the second game, well, I honestly can't remember. -__-

    It's sort of frightening to see how alike we are.

    And comforting, in a way.

    Oh, neat, good movie. It got pretty mixed reviews here back when it first came out, but I watched it late night a couple of years back and liked it a lot.

    How are you with British accent comprehension? A few of my American friends said they sometimes had trouble understanding me. Though I speak very fast, and very quietly, so I'm pretty sure that had less to do with my accent and more to do with my mannerisms.

    I can't really do any accents. Besides a bunch of regional Scottish accents, I can just about manage a few bad English ones. And a terrible Irish one. But I think everyone has a terrible Irish accent at their disposal.

    Ehe. And despite that, you've ended up so strong and secure, and I've ended up so...well...me. I wonder where the difference stemmed from?

    im actually pretty gifted with languages. i have a hard time retaining, but im the go-to guy when someone's speaking otherwise unintelligible english. might be a product of my upbringing. im constanly surrounded by people with heavy spanish accents, and i dont speak with an accent at all, neither spanish nor texan.

    I think it was up to you to decide, in the end. But yeah, I thought so. I haven't read the book, though. Maybe that makes it more clear one way or the other.
