Never finished High School, actually. Left midway through year 11 and floated around TAFE (roughly equivalent to vocational college) for a while before leaving that half-finished as well.

I'm just a natural nerd rather than a trained one.

Get your ass in school. I'm finally gonna make something out of my talent in math. After a year and a half of bitching from everybody about how I'm wasting time, I finally said fuck it and now I'm going, well in the summer. I'm looking forward to it.

Turns out my uncle knows a guy at the local lumber yard, which makes boxes to ship shit to the soldiers in Iraq. He might be able to get me into a nice entry level job there.

Eh. I left because the sets of "what I'm interested in studying" and "what I can make a living out of" didn't line up at all. I might go to uni sometime in the future (thinking about studying psychology or maybe history) but in the mean time I have a steady job that pays well, so I'm not fussed about heading back in a hurry.
