I like it how you describe 'Europe' as if it's some joint entity with just one government and one education system. Not...y'know...a bunch of countries that have a tendency to not even speak the same language. It's more like 'WTF, UK?'.

And yeah, college is like...halfway between school and university. All of the upper class degrees are run by universities, but colleges run a lot of lower band degree courses, as well as resits for those that didn't do so well in high school, or those who simply never sat exams in high school. That would be me.
