    Default Blue Ray

So the ps3 has Blue Ray games and dvds. Do you need a HDTV to get the benefits, or is it an independent thing? Just curious.

HDTV will make it better, but it still looks nice on a regular TV

So it's not like HD xbox 360 and dvd players where it forces you to play on a hdtv to get good benefits?

Well, yeah to get the real benefit, you'll need an HDTV, but it's not required.

Not even worth it though if you don't have a HDTV, surely...

Yeah, that's the sensible thing to do. Don't buy a PS3 unless you have HD. :eyeball:

Well I have a 360 and no hdtv. So I doubt it'd make much difference. I'm just getting really sick of MS and looking at all options just in case. :p

Well obviously. It would be a pretty fucking wank console if it didn't have blu-ray, it's not like it has anything else going for it.

You'll have to excuse him. He is really fat and lives in a closet.

Ps3's cool as hell. Xbox had shit when it came out, all system do. Ps3 did too but now it has solid 3rd party games and a few good 1st party games.
This year they will both excel. I'm going to try and sell my 360 for a high price, because it comes with a lot. If someone does buy it, I'll sell it, otherwise I'll stick with shit MS until I save up more.
