I dislike the yahoo toolbar too. However the DivX webplayer isn't an obtrusive thing, and while I believe that it does come with the option to install the toolbar, it's as easy as choosing not to.

Yeah at least you can choose not too. I'd like more flexibility on the shortcuts it puts on the desktop and the start menu, though.

When you install the software, other than copying files to Program Files\DiVX\ it creates a DIVX movies shortcut on your desktop, and some shortcuts in your start menu.
I'm having a new kick out of portable apps lately. They're fast most of the time, and they don't put shit all around your computer.
