I just got two requests, not even twenty minutes after listing my games. Unfortunately, without a printer I'm screwed as far as printing up their shipping stuff goes, but I may get to the library or something and do it there if possible.

To those of you who have shipped out games, have you used the Goozex provided mailing materials, and if not, has it been an issue?

I just write their info on a cardboard box and throw the game in there. No need for the labels.

I've received one game in the "goozex mailer", and while it was pretty easy to see how a game could get damaged, mine was fine. I'm sure most games arrive fine or they would have done away with the mailer...

I was asking more about whether or not you've used it to ship, but that's good to know.

What I really wanna know is that if I ship the requested games out in a plain yellow envelope with some bubble wrap, should that suffice? Or will I get some losers bitching about how I stiffed 'em on the shipping?

nah, screw all that shit. just mail it however you want. i highly doubt they'll complain about packaging on a free game.

If it were me, I'd put the game in an empty CD case too. If you're sending it in a bubble envelope anyway, the CD case isn't going to add any cost to the shipping.

The post office gives out free boxes, VHS sized. Use one of those with some bubble.

That's an option, but the free ones go Priority Mail, not 1st class

Yeah, use a jewel case, then, inside a bubble wrap envelope or something.

Could be, I dunno. I try to avoid their "look! a free box!" traps though. I once got some free packing tape from them...it had PRIORITY MAIL all over it, so it was useless to me. (especially if I wanted to ship UPS )

I got one game like that. It was fine, and on Ebay, thats how I sell them (except in full packaging.
