I have been thinking and I cannot figure out how DSL is available out here. Don't I have to be close to them for it to work? I haven't noticed any recent constructions around here, but maybe I am just worried about nothing.

Not to make you freak or anything, but I got letters for about 2 years, and every time I called, they said "Sorry, it's not available yet". After about the 3rd time, I told them to stick their letters in ther ass. Instead, they made it available. I think they chose well.

Got a letter. Called them. Then she was like oh, this just became available to you. Subscribed and ordered the modem. Got her to wave some fees. Done. Took less than 15 minutes. I know of at least 2 other families near here that have also just subscribed.
