Why don't you tell us why we should? What do you like about it? Tell us about the characters, the storylines. Give us something to go on here. Anything at all.
Be willing to invest something in your threads, or expect nobody to give a shit that they exist.

The reason for the thread was so that people who do watch the show can come in here and talk comming up episodes, twist in the plot etc......... wow this place is extremely hostile.

I dunno, I just got a bug up my ass as a Moderator when someone starts a thread and can't even bother to contribute anything to it. Oh, you want people to come in and talk about episodes, but don't seem to want to do anything yourself. What I get from this is that you're content to sit on your hands, waiting for someone to come along who knows what the hell you're talking about. Providing some background information on the show in question would've gone a long way to keeping me silent. And hey, it would've allowed those who don't know about the show to maybe check it out if they're interested, which in turn would help lead to more people with whom you could discuss it.
So really, this isn't about being hostile. I'm not going to sugar-coat my posts, but there's not really any ill intent in them. I just think that in order to ensure even a minimally successful thread, you have to be willing to show that you're not half-assing it. If it's important to you, don't rely on other members to drive your thread forward from the word go.
