I see the point, however a lot of companies release "special controllers" for their games. Samurai swords, one handed gamepads, joysticks, that short of crap. It hardly makes the game more enjoyable or easy, it just involves moving the buttons. As opposed to VC which gives an entirely different "point gun at what you want to blow up" experience. I'd say it's closer to playing RE4 with the chainsaw controller
