Experience? Instead of pushing buttons with your fingers, you're....pushing buttons with your fingers. For the game to be accurate, the buttons would have to be horizontal, not vertical, and the only real difference is that with the GH controller you have to flip a switch back and forth with one hand while hitting buttons on the neck with your other hand, instead of just hitting the buttons (as is the case with a gamepad). At least with DDR or something I can see the point, but not with GH, especially considering it's basically identical to all other rhythm games except it has a special controller

It hardly makes the game more enjoyable or easy, it just involves moving the buttons. As opposed to VC which gives an entirely different "point gun at what you want to blow up" experience. I'd say it's closer to playing RE4 with the chainsaw controller
