When the Twilight Bird swoops down at you, press A.

Or, so it says...might work, might not...

In addition to Phantom Hourglass, I'm also playing The New York Times Crossword on the DS. The letter recognition is almost perfect

Do you find the game kind of hard to get into? Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game and all, but man. If I'm able pick it up and play for long enough I'm hooked, but I can't play it in short bursts at all.

I fell right into it. The story line was pretty intriguing

My problem is, as is with a lot of games, I get stuck at a certain part. Then I get pissed off.

I got to the place where the lake had dried up, and there was some guy in a little shack...I think he was the caretake of what was once the lake, or something. Then the Twilight bad guy comes swooping in on the bird. The manual said to press A, the screen flashes A, and for some reason, A doesn't work. For me, anyway. I tried for days.

(I'm at a similar impasse with .hack//Infection, and I haven't played it for over 3 weeks now. It's just not fun to play, die, restart, play, die, restart.)

That's pretty much the same for me, I can never be bothered to play it. When I do play it, I really enjoy it.

Playing some Commander Keen on RobyDosBox. Thanks to Jack!

I didn't think I'd find myself enjoying such old, ancient, Sprungy, games.

    Phantom Hourglass.

Just defeated the fire boss Blaaz, and got the Power-orb thing, and sailed back to Mercay.

    This is my kinda game.
