Hey Sprung, you know how you grab steaming vids from IE's temporary internet folder? You wouldn't happen to know how to go about doing this using Firefox on Vista would you? I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure this out. All the files in Firefox's temporary internet folder are listed as "files" (no extension is shown, yet if I load them up within firefox, I'm able to click on the ones that are images and view them in firefox, the others just offer to let me download them).

No, sorry. I have no idea. Actually, I've been using http://www.youtubex.com/ instead of screwing with the cache.

FF doesn't work that way, most media (.movs, .mp3s, etc. etc.) isn't cached, it's streamed 100% and loaded into FF's memory. That's why FF uses so much memory in a session and why the video has to be redownloaded every session. As I understand it anyways.

Check about:cache and see what all is in it
