I've never actually seen the full version so I'm not exactly sure what they removed but have heard that a lot of the scenes that detail Jack Nicholson's descent into madness are missing in our version. It's probably nothing particularly important but all the same it irks me that the only verson domestically available to us is butchered for no real reason.
