The satellite signal for my tv won't fucking work. The tv in my parents computer room works fine and it runs off of the same receiver. It's not a problem tonight because I have the reciever in my room and just switched to the same one as their tv, but I need to have it fixed by morning. I don't know what is wrong though.

Press the little red reset button, then wait for it to come back on. Then, pull out the card. Power off. Reinsert the card, and press the red reset button again.

How's your setup? Antenna>split box>receivers?

Or just remove the card while it's on. It resets everything except your settings.

I had to go through that whole retarded process every time my DirecTV went out. Simply pulling the card wouldn't do it

I don't have that on my box. I have dish network. My old DirecTV box had that, but not this one. Interestingly enough I opened the spot where I thought the card would be, there is a slot for something, but no card. Who knows.
