Mines Borman btw. Picking up guitar hero 3 in 4 hours
Mine is knowitman.
I'll be picking Guitar Hero 3 sometime before Christmas.
So far I'm very satisfied with it. I only have Warhawk and motorstorm at the moment, but I'm planning on getting CoD 4 and Assassin's creed when they come out. I bought Super Puzzle Fighter 2 as well.
The only thing i have had slight trouble with is the headset that came with warhawk, and thats only because im still getting used to it.
Any games that you guys have that you would recommend that i buy?
Edit: Oh yeah, and I also had a question about the HDD. Its the 80gig model, and it has the 74gigs once its formatted. But like 4 hours after i had the playstation, it said that i only have 63gigs free, is that a normal amount of disc space to have taken up already?

Usually a game installs some stuff on the HDD when you first play it . . . like skate uses around 3gb and oblivion is like 5.4gb. Plus save files, which are usually around a gig or so. Most of the awesome games are coming out this month, like Uncharted and Haze but Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a pretty good game if you missed it on the Xbox.

Skate's pretty decent . . . the city is pretty huge but the only thing I really didn't like about it was sometimes I just didn't know what to do next
Oh yeah, PS3 version has some lag too . . . but when you turn the game on it'll say something about connecting to EA Nation, cancel that if you don't need it .. . framerate problems solved.

Cool
I was also wondering about how the "Find media server"(or something like that) works, what do i need to do in order to get stuff onto my PS3.
To be honest, Ive never gotten to work, though im on OSX. Ive gotten it to show up before, and start playing, then it would stop and crash soo /shrug
I've heard that TVersity is a good program that can even encode videos on the fly to watch on the PS3 via DLNA.
I am running Ubuntu Linux so I haven't tried it out.
