So plug the ethernet from the modem to the router's "input", then plug ethernet from an "output" to your computer, and another from another "output" to the other computer.It has, thus far, done jack shit. polo says: a standard home router will do the job. Expect to pay 40 ish dollars for a decent one from D-Link or Linksys which should do the job.
Be sure it has 1 WAN port (internet goes in that) and 4 LAN ports (computers connect there). Most home routers should have that above.
