    I have seen a game named Shining Force Exa or something for the PS2, but I have heard it's quite bad, from fans of the original.

    Rather.

    It does suck quite a lot, and has absolutely nothing to do with the original series. It's more like Records of Lodoss War. Hell, some music, sounds, and effects are taken straight from that game.
