Also, I hate the level after this one, "Hidden Valley". Genome soldier looking guards covering the entire fucking place, and all the ICA gives me is a crossbow? WTF.

I got to the second level of Citadel Station in System Shock today. I also discovered there's almost normal WASD controls, except move forward is S, and backwards is X, except in cyberspace, where W becomes up, A is left, D is right, and X is down. At least the 'enemy' security things in cyberspace are pretty easy to deal with.
Still no mouselook, but I've gotten pretty used to manually setting the tilt of the view with the little slider. I like the crouch/lean grid next to it, too. It gives for a huge amount of subtlety in your movements.
I've also got myself a number of weapons (A pipe, a dart gun, a pistol, and a laser gun), and all the cyborgs Shodan keeps throwing at me means I've got an assload of ammo.
