What I said there was in his best interest. I'd rather him know up front what he did wrong and hopefully drive the point home, so that he can put it behind him and enjoy all the EP has to offer.

There have been far too many cases in which a member signs up, fails to read the rules or look for the proper section in which to post a question, and in turn he inevitably gets gang-banged by people who proceed to treat him like shit for being such a n00b. This results in the member running for the hills, or gets into a series of long, drawn out flame wars, in which we have to intervene, thereby losing a member who might otherwise turn out to be an asset to the board.

So yeah, it was either I let him know what he did wrong, or someone like Cheesy or Astaroth do it, and we all know their track-record for running members out of EP.

So... why not get rid of the few in favor of the many? It's not like CMM contributes with anything or that Astaroth detains knowledge that others like Sprung, SegNin, and Haldrie don't.
