Hey, I almost bought one of those metal fans the other day at Walmart. Do they rattle?

We sleep with a fan running all night, and I can't stand to hear one rattle.

I've got a giant fancy window fan from the 70's in my bedroom window. It's designed for basically the same function as a modern air conditioner. Christ that thing is loud. Good thing it's at the far end of my room from my bed, and I keep it on low. Thing moves more than enough air down like that.
It has a tendency to blow itself out of the window, so I've got it tied down to the window frame with the shade cord.

You can here it run, but it doesn't rattle. Not a bad deal. Picked this on up for like $30.

I have a decent one now, with a remote control and all, but it's beginning to show it's age. They had that one (or one like it) for $19.99, as well as the one I have now.
