That Halloween remake is really boring.

I don't know. Remaking Halloween seems like an exercise in futility regardless of the outcome. =x It's not especially dated, it's not the sort of film that would particularly benefit from enhanced special effects or better technology, and, although I don't like it that much, the original was about as good an execution of the subject matter as you could've asked for. It just seems like a really bad choice for a remake. o.O

Plus...yeah, the Rob Zombie thing.

Well said. Nothing was added that the original movie didn't have. I fail to see the reason behind this. It's quite possible that he can't make music anymore, and would prefer revisiting well-known avenues.
